I am working on making more ACEOs this week, and decided to try out a new technique. Instead of my usual "soft" little 2.5" x 3.5" crazy quilt ACEOs (which by the way, stands for "Art Cards, Editions, and Origionals"), I am trying to add a little more firmness so they are more card-like. I would really like some feedback on which people like better. For that reason, you see one of the type I have been doing and selling on Ebay -- the first picture, and the new try -- the second picture. Let me know what you think, please.

I like the crispness of your *new try*. You do very nice work, btw!

Judi, I love your cards! Both look wonderful to me! Sue
Hi Judi, Your artwork is lovely, as always. I would think the preferred style depends on how the purchaser plans to use the design. The card form would be nice for a wall hanging or desk display; however, the soft form would be good for use in attire, pillows, and crazy quilts. Would it be possible to make the card removeable so that the new owner of the artwork would have the option? Love your designs!!! Tina M.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I do like these

I LOVE the original ones (on the left), but the new one is beautiful too! Your work is just so beautiful and meticulous!
HuGGs!

Hi Judi I hve to say I like the card stylefor like a display of some kind but the soft style has a bit more vintage to it I think, just my honest opinion. But both of htese cards or not are beautiful.
I like both Judi, both are lovely & your artwork is beautiful!...but if I *had* to choose...I vote for the firmer look.
:o)

Both are beautiful!
I love the first one, not so much for the softness but because it isn't an exact size. I love the way that it is "outside the lines"!
If you could do that on the firm one, then I'd like it as much as the first one.
But honestly, I agree with "anonymous"...
Have a fabulous day,
Jan
Definately the second card looks very professional!! Cool good for you!!
I think I like the 'old' way best because to me fabric means soft, pliable etc. Be interesting to see which you decide on!
Well after a few tries I got here! And what eye candy! They are both beautiful Judi! xxoo Astrid
Gosh, Judi, I'm no help I love them both and think they're equally beautiful!
Hi Judi. As you know, I love your soft sculptured ACEO's. They're so friendly to touch. Still, for the right purpose, the stiffer versions are beautiful. They are more formal, less likely to be handled, and do display well, even without an easel. Both are a treat for the eyes. I would vote you do both kinds if I had a vote. Do what your artist's heart desires...all of your work is sought after for a reason. You are a master at the craft! I am so grateful to have possession of some of your most lovely pieces. Everyone who see them cannot believe the detail! Micky Sue
